The Nike Zoom Kaiju snowboard boots belong the some of the better boots we have come across lately. It has the same feel and flex as the Burton Ion but with surprisingly more response. The inner liner that Nike used is also quite similar to Burton’s and it feels very comfortable. We immediately found out these boots fit nicely and feel good straight out of the box. Most riders prefer speed lacing when it comes to adjusting their boots and this one doesn’t have that. However its traditional lacing set up is easy to use and we were able to dial in the boots perfectly. Special air heel cushions will absorb harsh impacts and protect your feet. Overall we think the initial hype around this new boot is backed up by great performance: this season’s Nike Zoom Kaiju is a proper snowboard boot.
- Has good traction in any condition.
- Great upper and lower adjustability.
- Speed lacing would be more easy.
