Lib Tech Snowboards

Born from the ashes of GNU snowboards, Lib Tech snowboards has been at the frontline of cutting edge technology and ecological design. The company’s name comes from when founder Mike Olson put cloth from a jumper into a skateboard prototype. Which had a resemblance to Valentino Liberace’s sparkly jumpers. Not much later the Lib Tech brand was born.

The company’s first snowboard all featured skeletons as the top graphic and are considered works of art. Snowboarder Jamie Lynn, who once rode their boards to victory, now works on the artistic parts of snowboard design. With Magna-Traction and Banana Rocker the company showed the industry their high-tech side.
