The 2017 Arbor Poparazzi snowboard is an all-mountain freestyler build for women that want a medium to soft flexing board that can take them anywhere on the mountain. This Arbor snowboard is a great tool for improving your technique and boosting your snowboarding skills. With its versatile shape, confidence inspiring flex and catch-free profile, this board is your ticket to easy riding this winter. Whether you like to be in the spotlights or not.
Its design features a Directional Twin shape that’s centered for a well-balanced feel. The slightly larger nose provides extra stability and improved float in fresh snow. Its medium to soft flex is forgiving enough for improving your carving skills. But without holding you back when you are riding fast and hitting mid-sized kickers. The board’s Continuous Rocker profile gives a catch-free, loose and playful feel. Arbor’s System Rocker technology not only prevents you from catching an edge when carving but is also forgiving on landings and floats well on powder. On snow, this board rides surprisingly stable. Even though it has a pretty loose feel it performed really well when cruising around groomed slopes. Although not effortless, this board turns easily.
We had lots of fun carving with this board, as it holds the carve very well without the tail washing out. The edge hold is very good. Not too catchy, but it grips nicely. You will need that extra hold because this rides seriously fast. On uneven terrain, it can get a bit bouncy, but the board remains controllable. When it comes to jumping, this is a solid board. It may not be super springy but you will have a great time on the medium sized jumps. Overall, the 2017 Arbor Poparazzi snowboard is the right choice for women who are looking for good carving and a technical approach to freestyle. This is a board that will fit many all mountain freestyle snowboarders needs.
