With many snowboards on the market today that have wild graphics, it’s nice to come across one with a distinctively classic look. The 2017 Arbor Sin Nombre snowboard is an all-mountain freestyle deck build for the riders that like to test their craft. No matter what type of terrain they will encounter. This board gives a razor-sharp response on groomers and will tear up the steeper sections of the mountain.
Falling in the medium-stiff range, this snowboard packs the stability of a freeride board into the Directional Twin shape of a freestyle deck. Instead of having a looser rocker profile, this board features Arbor’s System Camber. Which gives lots of stability at high speeds and a locked-in feel when carving. The board’s upturned contact points eliminate that grabby experience you get with traditional camber. On snow, this board feels stable and snappy. It has a slight medium-stiff flex that makes it lean more towards all-mountain than freestyle. When it comes to turning this board goes quickly from edge-to-edge.
You can really rip a few hard turns. Whether you are doing short quick turns or long drawn out carves this board will not show signs of stopping. The amount of pop you get from this board is so nice. Just prepare to load it up and initiate your jumps. This board may have a unique nose shape it doesn’t really help its float on powder. Overall, the 2017 Arbor Sin Nombre snowboard hangs a bit more towards the all-mountain side of snowboarding instead of freestyle. In order to fully enjoy its capabilities, you will need to have more experience and enough technical skills.
