Review

Back for this season: the YES Typo all-mountain snowboard designed for riders who want a board that can take on everything from park to powder. This board actually appeared in the first line of YES boards in 2009, but was replaced by the now favourite Yes Basic. This reincarnation of the Typo is simply a suit up version of the Basic with a bit more tech added to an already solid deck. The board features a Directional Twin shape with a medium flex and comes with Underbite outlines. Special indents along the board’s sidecuts to focus the pressure where it’s most needed when turning. This board has a sintered base which allows for a more aggressive ride. All in all this season’s YES Typo snowboard offers great fun for a reasonable price and has nice graphics. It’s no slouch and even better suited for those who like hard charging.
